Underwood Ammo combines its superior performance with the Sierra Pro Hunter bullet to provide hunters a classic hunting option to pair with their favorite .30-30 rifle.  This combination achieves good expansion and deep penetration in medium and heavy game at short to medium ranges. The Pro Hunter bullet has a short projectile length for the given weight. This allows a rifle barrel to stabilize a considerably heavier round-nose projectile than would be possible with a spitzer-pointed bullet of the same weight, which would be considerably longer, making this a perfect option for your next whitetail deer hunt.

Nickel-plated casings with the new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel-plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.
