MatchKing rifle bullets are super-accurate bullets with very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. Weight retention is held to within +/- 0.3 grain. Each bullet is a hollow point and is designed with a very small meplat in order to achieve the highest ballistic coefficient possible.
This 100 grain 25 caliber HPBT MatchKing bullet #1628 has been designed with the characteristic MatchKing quality features, a thin jacket for concentricity and uniformity, and precise weight control. It is appropriate for cartridges like the 257 Roberts Improved, 25-06, 257 Weatherby Magnum and 1×10″ twist 250-3000 Savage.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
This is not loaded ammunition.
